How would birds be controlled in and around the airport vicinity considering that the vicinity's can be very large and near wildlife refuges?
Who can be held responsible in the event of a bird strike?
What techniques are being used currently to control birds in the airport vicinity's?
When will the procedures for bird strikes be implemented?
Where will the birds be relocated so that they are not easily able to interfere with airport operations later on?
Why is there not set procedures in the general aviation community for bird strikes?
Should airports be required to install bird deterrent equipment and what standards will mandate that?
Would passengers be less afraid to fly if the numbers of bird strikes decreases?
I think you could consodidate your topic a bit. Such as, 'should airports be required to have manditory bird deterrent equipment?' It allows the the paper to discuss the area of 'should airports be required to have bird deterrent equiptment?' and 'what standards will mandate the bird deterrent equiptment?' in one specific topic rather than seperating them into two sub-topics.
ReplyDeleteI think you have a good research question. However, as Ryan mentioned, I think you could more closely focus on one part of your two part question. I would think the more influencing question is whether airports should be required to install bird deterrent equipment? Once you have answered and researched primarily this, you could probably explore how they would mandate it. Good luck on all your research!
